Steeping green tea in water that’s not too hot helps develop nuanced flavors while minimizing astringency.
For every 12 oz of water, use 1-2 teaspoons (1 teabag) of green tea. Pour 175°–200°F water into a cup, add the tea, and steep 3 minutes.
