Peet’s Holiday Blend Makes an Impact
The best beans of the season just got better
A spectacular blend brimming with holiday spirit, as coffees selected from the very best regions come together in the year’s most celebratory cup. Velvety, luscious chocolate notes from Guatemala and Panama in the Americas follow fragrant East African aromatics of candied zest from Kenya. All are brought to fullness by the spice and heft of Indo-Pacific Sumatra. Peet's Holiday Blend 2022 is a fitting blend for the most festive time of year, and we’re thrilled to share the results of a superlative year of astounding coffees.
This year’s velvety cup honors diverse communities and regions, a blend of coffees that cleave together in a cup of cheer. At Peet’s, we pour more than coffee into every cup—we’re driving positive impact in every region where we source beans for Holiday Blend 2022.
“Coffee can be a powerful means of doing good."
-Jim Reynolds, Peet’s Roastmaster Emeritus
HOLIDAY BLEND’S IMPACT AT ORIGIN
Peet’s offers training to smallholder coffee farmers in Guatemala through our partner TechnoServe’s MOCCA Program, a rehabilitation and renovation initiative aimed at helping farmers overcome hurdles impeding their businesses and livelihoods. Learn more.
HOLIDAY BLEND GIVES BACK
In addition to our ongoing commitment to support coffee producers and farmers at origin, we're giving back right here in the Bay Area. For every pound of Holiday Blend 2022 sold in select Bay Area Peet’s coffeebars during Giving Week*, Peet’s will donate $2 to our non-profit partner La Cocina.
ABOUT LA COCINA
A Bay Area nonprofit, La Cocina works to solve problems of equity in business ownership for women, immigrants, and people of color.
As organizations, both Peet’s and La Cocina share a commitment to women’s advancement. Both organizations support the training, education, and support of women—Peet’s, through its ongoing commitment to support women coffee producers and farmers at origin, and La Cocina, through its focus on incubating low-income BIPOC and immigrant food entrepreneurs.
Since 2005, La Cocina has focused on small business incubation, with a vision to increase inclusivity in the food industry and offer equitable opportunity for living-wage work and asset generation. La Cocina runs a food incubator, a program that provides training, resources, mentorship, and commercial kitchen space to aspiring food entrepreneurs that traditionally might not have access to capital or resources.
