Organic Turmeric Ginger Golden Milk Recipe
Richly warming Golden Milk
Make your own Golden Milk for an extra-rich, grounding ritual that's beautifully delicious at any time of day.
Ancient medicine, timeless taste
Organic Turmeric Ginger Tea blends two spicy, healthful herbs with a long history. Used medicinally for more than 4,000 years, turmeric has gone by many names over time and across cultures. We call it "the golden spice" for its vibrant sunset-orange color, but it’s been known by 53 names in Sanskrit alone, meaning everything from “lucky” and “killer of fat” to “that which gives delight to the heart” or “wins over disease.” Its sister root, ginger, comes from the same plant family and shares turmeric’s anti-inflammatory reputation. With a similar peppery snap and lively warmth, ginger is famed for aiding digestion with its clean zing.
While ginger is familiar to palates the world over, turmeric’s resurgence in popularity has been more recent. We’ve designed our Turmeric Ginger Tea blend to balance its bright bite with supportive botanicals. Cinnamon bark sweetens the heat with gentler, soothing spice. Full-bodied floral chamomile joins cooling spearmint to round and mellow while helping quiet the stomach. The citrusy tartness of lemongrass ties it all together, for a blend that’s both zesty and smooth with a perfect balance of spicy & sweet. Comforting after meals, invigorating any time you’d like a lift, and deeply soothing as Golden Milk.
With flavor as rich and complex as its heritage, Organic Turmeric Ginger belongs in any tea cabinet.
